So, the ever-lovely Katie West posted a thing that is, in part, about how hard it is to share things online. It’s true, it’s hard to get home after living a full day of life and want to create. But then sometimes, you create things and don’t want to share them because by doing so, you make yourself vulnerable to people telling you that your work is shit.
And that’s so totally me. I make stuff all the time, what with the being in school and all. I get horrifically nervous about sharing anything I do but I’m trying to get past that. So here are two self-portraits from last year that I like. I got to scribble all over my shower with bathtub crayons and cover myself in body paint. It was pretty boss. And yes, I still like to call things boss.

“The song isn’t the singer.” I forget who wrote that, but it’s interesting how celebrity has eclipsed genuine artistry. I’m experimenting with formulating personas without actually posting mugshots incessantly. I like to make stalkers work.
